This course equips primary teachers and leaders with practical, evidence-informed strategies to provide high challenge in English. It aligns with the National Curriculum for English, the Statutory EYFS Framework, The Reading Framework, The Writing Framework, Ofsted’s focus on ambition and challenge, and effective approaches to greater depth standard (GDS). Teachers will explore how to move beyond surface-level tasks to foster critical thinking, creativity, authorial craft and linguistic mastery.
